How to Have a Bath Tea
Step One - Prepare
Take your bath tea and your steeping bag to prepare your bath tea. Each 500g pot of bath tea will be perfect for four separate baths.
Step Two - Decant and Steep
Decant about 1/4 of your 500g pot of bath tea into your steeping bag.
After you have done this, you can choose from several options for your perfect bath.
Option One: Boil some water and place your steeping bag in a separate bowl for 5 minutes. Allow ingredients to steep in the water just like a tea bag.
Option Two: Run a hot bath and place your steeping bag directly into the bath. Swirl the bag around so it releases all of the goodness of the bath tea. Wait until the bath is cool enough to bathe in.
Option Three: If you don't mind all of the ingredients loose in your bath, you can simply throw 1/4 of the ingredients of the pot of bath tea directly into your bath and swirl it around to release the goodness.
Step Three - Enjoy
Once the bath is cool enough and your steeping bag has steeped long enough (approximately 5 - 8 minutes in the bath or a few minutes in the bowl) you can now enjoy your bath.
If you have steeped in a bowl, pour the contents of the bowl (including your steeping bag) into the bath and hop in.
If you have steeped the bag directly in the bath or thrown the ingredients directly into the bath, just hop on in!
Squeeze the steeping bag to release the aromas, nutrients and colours.
Caution! Be careful not to burn yourself as the steeping water retained in the steeping bag may still be very hot.
